CHAPTER ONE.

In the beginning there was nothing but a space in a time that never seemed to progress and nine specks of dust that, for millenniums, just floated through the universe with no specific purpose. The universe evolved, over time, and eventually the specks of dust changed into the beings now know as ‘the Gods’. They were whole, yet incomplete, they existed and they lived but at the same time, they were nothing but empty shells who had no purpose. Time progressed even further, and with it did these Gods and their mindset; their goals and their beliefs, their wants and needs, and their ambitions. They were infants, young and naïve, they fought and argued and took for themselves what they wanted. They learned speech, and developed different languages between them, like little children do. They also learned that they could make things, and control things, and do more than just exist.

They made something, together, a world that was not a world but merely a sphere of jagged rock and mist. In this world, they aged and grew up, and they existed some more. Some began to think more than the others, they evolved faster and learned to use their powers in a more controlled fashion that benefited them. They made other beings, creatures like themselves and others that were entirely different. They grew bored of that life eventually, and these Gods branched off, leaving the sphere of jagged rocks to make their planets and worlds. Soon enough, the rest followed suit, and after a while, they all split apart completely.

One created a planet that was more of a ball of flame that gave light to the universe; this God came to call his creation the Sun, and after a while he named himself Ceau. Miles away from the Sun, another God created a planet in the opposite fashion of Ceau’s Sun; she made it cold, and white. The light was calming and gave off a blue glow, unlike the harsh, burning rays of the Sun. She called her planet the Moon, and like Ceau she gave herself a name; Athreane. Other Gods followed in their example, creating planets for themselves that they would exist on. Other’s took the creation of planets a step further, and soon they began creating entire empires of creatures and other beings. They also multiplied their own numbers; at first they could only think to merely create beings with power levels similar to their own, in the fashion of how they made the beings who populated their planets. These replicas, while definitely powerful, were cheap imitations of the Gods and were never quite real. Eventually, the Gods learned to reproduce in a different way. And so, the new generations evolved and began the process of existing as did their predecessors.

More millennia passed, and the evolution of the Gods continued on. They created, they watched, they failed sometimes, too. When that happened, they would try again and continue striving for a perfection that they weren’t entirely sure why it was so dire to achieve. It was a hard thing to grasp, perfection. Many of the Gods tried and failed to snatch it. Perhaps some held onto it at least once, but it was always fleeting. The beings inhabiting their planets would evolve, just like them, over millions of years and they would fight, just like them, they would create their own things, just like them. It led to wars, poverty, power and corruption. They tried to intervene and stop them from ruining the peace, but they could only manage to make it worse.

One God learned that if you took out the components of a few things that made up the world, and simplified that in which the beings he created lived in, it held back the corruption that so ruined perfection. He learned more through studying the other planets, over the years, and soon he decided to try a method that none of the other Gods had thought to try; to exist amongst their creations and support the order presented unto them. However, he also decided that the possibility of introducing more than one God to the realm would benefit it. Of course, the problem with that was the fact that the majority of the God race didn’t get along, at all. It took years filled with a lot of discussions, agreements and the establishment of a law for the Gods themselves before he would eventually attain three more Gods to his cause.

And so it was that Juudas the Wise established the first real step to reaching perfection amongst the universe, along with Niare the Warrior and Korvhan the Beast, as well as Sien the Illusive. They created a world, after some time, and made for it entirely new races. Over time, they established laws and structures for the civilization. For a time the Gods held onto a firm grasp of perfection. And it lasted for some thousands of years, the longest amount of time that any of the Gods in the universe had been about to hold onto it. Considered to be the one, true Utopia, the world was seen as the highest of all in the entire universe, and the Gods whom had created the Realm were considered to be amongst the highest, as well, with Juudas at the top of the hierarchy.

These positions that the Utopia held, however, and the power that could be harnessed from controlling the world was inevitably too much of a temptation to resist for one of the Gods of the world whom Juudas had so mistakenly miscalculated. This God was Sien, the Illusive, son of Ceau and Athreane; he was a naturally gifted, strong God almost unlike any of the other second and third generations. Soon after the realization that such power could be his if he controlled the utopia, Sien set to putting his plans into motion for the takeover of the utopia. This began the starting point of the changing of a world, the greatest battle the universe had ever seen, and the events leading up to the fall of a God, banishment of another and eventually, the destruction of a Realm and almost extinction of a race. Sien’s plot for takeover had failed, however he had surely dealt considerable damage to each of the opposing forces; most of all, Juudas. He was banished, in the end, to a dead planet in which he was kept at bay in by the forces of Juudas, Korvhan and his own parents, Ceau and Athreane.

Thousands of millennia have past since that Great War, thousands and perhaps more. The realms have steadied themselves, thus far, and are at large and strong once more, the peace is upheld and there is still a semblance of perfection that the world one had. Behind that, however, trouble is stirring. In the considered dead realm of Azrazel, sightings of gatherings have been reported; gatherings of larger groups of Daemi and Aradi, the races created by Sien, then there should be. And unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Sien has escaped his banishment and the Gods have lost all signs of him. For the time being, he is not considered be a large threat just yet, as his forces couldn’t possibly be large enough to rival that of the combined Realms. They know all too well that Sien isn’t arrogant nor stupid enough to stage a threat so early, but they are still wary. What they do not know of Sien’s overwhelming and rapid growth in power during his banishment, however, is sure to hit hard once the anger that he has let so long to fester is unleashed upon the utopia that he once so desired control of, but now wishes only to destroy…

In a world of inhuman beings with certain powers and abilities, danger lurking behind most every corner, power hungry Gods with grudges and a whole lot of adventure, who and what are you going to be? Find your place amongst the chaos to come and settle in to await the prelude of the final act to commence.
