Shinzo "Jashin" Zetsu a.k.a. Yahiko
Male, 203, Daemi, Wanderer, Ruins of Nazura.
PERSONALITY,Such things as love and caring are not needed in life, as a lust for power and the determination to actually achieve that power are key to ambition. That is my point of view of things.
Cunning to say the least~
In the race of the Daemi's, what's most abundant would be the rather cunning and sneaky lust for power inherited by their creator, Sien the Illusive. However, not all the Daemi's have that unique trait nailed so deeply into their little evil heads like 'Jashin' does. No. This one is quite special when it comes to that. He has such a mind-revolving look that reflects his ever so striking cunningness that is quite intimidating in a way. Jashin takes this aspect to a whole new level in which he is almost depicted as a young genius Daemi. It strikes so effectively in a victim's mind that he gets whatever he wants most of the time. This makes him ever so sneaky as to be intelligent enough to see through an adversary, and actually break that one he sees through. Even though he doesn't have all that strength as a Malaki or a Naoi, his cunningness makes him dangerous to such an extent that he's almost lethal to deal with in any kind of situation. Because he doesn't have much physical skill, he very much adapts to this aspect of his personality to get through tight spots.
What aCharmingUnpleasant Fellow
One of the most noticeable things showing off at Jashin's face is the unpleasant and nasty look he shoots at pretty anybody that looks at him straight in the eye. It reflects just what is seen through his dark greyish green eyes that almost seem sadistic even at a distance. This shows off that Jashin is not one that gets along with people, and prefers to distance himself from others--even Daemi from his group--mainly because he is so heartless in a darker-than-usual way. This also influences in his fighting style as he usually intimidates his opponents with that overall nasty look, even if he doesn't notice it a whole lot. However, he does know that he gets to be intimidating at times and is aware of it, just that he doesn't think about in the spur of the moment. And sometimes he even does so on purpose, to throw off an opponent by giving them that nasty look.
All this reflects on Jashin's cruel and sadistic personality, as he is just too heartless. Like stated before, he prefers to separate himself from others, even his own group, and never likes making any friends or even allies for his own sake. Of course, some of these may be natural personality traits for Daemi, but in Jashin, it's just too deep to even comprehend. It gets so dark and evil in such a hateful way towards others, that other daemi came to call him from his birth name of Shinzo(meaning "Heart") to Jashin(meaning "Evil Heart") after his obviously evil personality.
Fuck yea~!!
Despite the natural ways of evil and sadistic personality traits among Daemi, especially Jashin, this one actually has that fiery determination to keep on goin' no matter what and achieve those longheld dreams and goals. This is quite strange and very rare for a Daemi, but it's true all in all upon Jashin.
APPEARANCE,
Head-
To start off with Jashin's physical appearance, first comes the top of his well-toned body. Just like any Daemi, he would have that darkened skin throughout his body from his head to toes, although his is more of a darkened greyish tone. After the skin comes his hair, which is, again, like most Daemi, black. But his hair has the exclusively rare shade of white. Hoever, he only has few highlights of such throughout his long hair, almost like thin little stripes going down his head.
Next in Jashin's head is his eyes. These almost demonic, and definitely sadistic-to-a-heartless-and-compeltely-evil-extent eyes carry a darkened emerald-grey-almost-black tone that reflects his heartless personality all too well--and don't even have a pupil. These are an important factor to both his physical appearance and his personality, as it reveals his sadistic side through physical manifestation in his face. His eyes are also quite useful when intimidating an opponent purposely, as Jashin is very successful when it comes to that. One thing that help this method of intimidating an opponent is that he seems to have shady eyes, or they area around them seems shady, something that gives him a very 'ghostly' look.
Then comes his nose. Right across his nose, is a small indentation or 'space' that is kind of pushed in, almost making him seem not to have a nose at all because of the mask he wears. This also causes him to seem more of like a zombie's skull, a very fitting look to a Daemi, whom are almost despicted as a race of "dead people". However, he does a nose under that small indentation. It is straightly leaned forward, although almost impossible to ever catch a glimpse of it because Jashin always wears that mask of his. This mask is pitch black and occupies a space of his nose down to the rest of his lower face. Again talking about his hair, Jashin's long hair is a bit pulled straightforward, some of it getting to a bit of the edges of his mask. Since it naturally leans straightforward and to the front, Jashin's hair goes right in front of his forhead, covering it and goes down to his eyes. However, Jahsin isn't the type to have hair way too long, so he keeps it at his neck. The structure of his hair is quite unique and interesting in a way, as it looks a bit like the exact same structure of hair spiked with hair gel. Of course, there's no hairgel in this world, and Jashin's hair is actually quite soft to the touch. Silky, almost. Jashin's hair also covers his ears, and no one has ever actually seen them. However, his hearing is not affected by this, as he has acute sensing.
Now comes the mouth, then the neck. Although only seen when Jashin takes off his mask-if he actually takes it off- few have actually seen the lower half of his face. His lips are naturally darker, almost pitch black, because of the natural darkened skin color. He has a toned face, with noticeable cheekbones that form a pretty perfilated faccial structure. these cheekbones create 'shaded' features just like his eyes, giving him that ghostly look that helps intimidate even more. As for the neck, same colour and tone as the rest of his skin, is very toned as well, in muscles. It is not too thick or thin and fits with his head pefectly.
Torso-
Right after Jashin's neck, obviously comes his shoulders and torso. First his shoulders; they are quite widely spread and lean, showing off his strength. He also has quite long arms, also toned like the rest of his body, and a bit thick and definitely strong.
His chest. Again, Jashin has well-toned muscles which he has gained by practicing for years, to catch up on strength knowing that the Malaki are fairly stronger in that matter although slower than the Daemi. He has fairly big pecs on his chest as he also cares for how his body looks. Under such he carries a set of abs, also a bit toned. However, despite all the toning in his body, Jashin isn't too fond of physical strength even if it's quite enhanced. Instead, he obviously leans more towards speed, being a Daemi.
Waist and down-
Obviously his waist. It's a normal one for a male. Mediocre width, not thick or too thin... you get the idea. Just plain normal. Under the waist obviously comes his legs(after the other one comes along)Jashin's legs are also a normal size for a male, though a bit more toned than the usual muscles since he, after all, specializes in speed. Again, this is only natural for a Daemi and inevitable in most cases.
Attire-
Jashin's attire consists of his own style blended in with the usual Daemi style. As mentioned before, he wears a mask that goes from his nose down to the entire lower half of his face. On his neck, he wears a short white scarf, under which he wears a net shirt on his upper body. On top of that Jashin wears a black tee shirt which is quite widely opened up on the neck area, so the net shirt is noticeable at a distance. The black tee shirt has short sleeves to enable rapid movement during battles. On his arms, he wears greyish fingerless gloves which have pitch black patches scattered about(about three per glove) so they don't seem plain. Each glove extends up to his elbows to serve as iron armguards, and thick ones they are. These iron armguards consist of several layers, the first being the same greyish tone as the start of the gloves. The second layer consists of pitch black steel iron that covers the entire top area of the first layer, but only on the outside of Jashin's arms. These second layer black plates of steel are strapped onto the first layer of grey by black leather straps, four on each of the two plates, kept connected by three small black iron lockets each. At the end of the black iron plates(pointing to the elbows' directions) are two white rings on each arm, completely running across the first layer of grey.
On his lower body, Jashin wears what appear to be pitch black cargo pants that go down to about half of his shins. From that point, he wears something like large white socks that connect his pants to his sandal-like shoes. These sandal-like shoes are pitch black, while the oversized 'socks' are pure white. On the top of his cargo pants, Jashin wears a black belt with grey lines running across it, about 20 in total. However, this belt isn't noticeable because of his shirt.
POWERS&SPECIALITIES,
Immortality by age
Although the Daemi can be killed by action, they cannot die by age. This is a trait that all Daemi share, to be able to live on and on in Eternity if they can avoid being killed by any other creature. Jashin rather likes this trait quite a lot.
The Choice to Change
Naturally, any Daemi has the ability to shapeshift into any three appearances they like, though the higher ranks such as Zafrire held a better skill for that. Jashin, being a Shedim, could only shapeshift at will into one of the appearances he liked, and the other two he was not too fond of.
The first and most used appearance by Jashin upon shapeshifting was to increase his appearance in age by a few centuries, making him seem a bit stronger but definitely a lot more intimdating in his gaze than usual. This was quite useful for battles, as he could use that intimidate + rapid speed combo more efficiently. This was obviously his most prefered appearance.
The second appearance, one he was not too fond of and merely shapeshifted into this one for "fun". Jashin would do the complete opposite of the first appearance and actually make him seem a lot younger, almost like a mere child.
The third appearance, the least he was fond of and barely ever used. In this one, Jashin would transform into a seemingly much older Daemi, only to confuse opponents and seem a lot more intimidating like the first appearance, but in this case more than even that one. However, the reason Jashin is not too fond of this appearance is that he simply doesn't like old age and its looks. He prefers even the second appearance a lot more then this one.
Fast and Furious
Being a Daemi, Jashin also has a naturally enhanced speed, surpassing that of a Malaki's. However, this makes them quite a bit weaker in strength than their counterparts, having that great speed. Jashin is actually extremely fond of this ability, as one would think, but more than usual. He prefers speed way too much over strength, and uses his intimidating gaze together with that as a battle strategy a lot. Jashin also relies on his speed a lot, so it is a vital part to his fighting style.
Numb Heart
Just like his actual heart, Jashin feels almost no physical pain whatsoever, giving him great defense against physical offense. However, he is not completely immune, as the more an opponent tries to hurt him with a more powerful strike, he will eventually feel the pain. Feeling no physical pain is a unique trait of the Daemi, but the higher the rank the less pain they feel, so Jashin being a Shedim still feels a bit of pain if inflicted enough.
The Weapon of Choice
Jashin has a Katana-type sword that is put away at a sword holster at the back of his waist. This Katana is 4 feet long with a silvery color to the blade, and a pitch black handle. The handle has a few black bandages wrapped around it. Jashin usually calls the blade "Zetsubou no Shinzo" after himself. He had found this weapon in the ruins of Nazura during his childhood, with absolutely no idea of what it was or why it was there.
Weakness..?
Despite the great and useful abilities that Jashin has in his arsenal, there is something that hurts the Daemi. Eating food tastes like pure ash to the Daemi and any liquid substance will burn them or give them severe headaches. In Jashin's case, eating food will be just like any other; ashy and disgusting. But in his case for liquid substances, he doesn't get too burned, but does in fact get heavy headaches. This is something he doesn't tolerate one bit, and angers him the most.
HISTORY,
The Birth
Jashin--or Shinzo, his birthname--hasn't been around too long in the history of the world. He's relatively young compared to a lot of Daemi and to the more experienced ranks and races. He was born around the time that would've been November... they told him. He was raised by renegade Daemi that were in search of remainders of their kind, and took care of him as an actual son. They taught how to fight, how to use his abilities--everything he needed to know since a young age. But that shouldn't be talked about yet. This here is about the birth and childhood of Shinzo "Jashin" Zetsu, Shedim Rank Daemi. He was born around the time that would've been November, as stated before, in a wasteland of the Nazura Kingdom Ruins. His mother had died shortly after giving birth, a death of unknown reasons. And his father was hunted down by unknown sources long before that. His mother would name him "Shinzo" which meant "Heart" but because he never did get to know here, he didn't know what a last name would be. But for some reason, Other Daemi recognized him as the son of a powerful Daemi indeed.... one that got to be called "Zetsubou," or "Despair". After that, they began to call the little Daemi Shinzo Zetsu. As he grew, he developed quite well, as his darkened greyish emerald eyes grew in, he caught up on his speed, his hair grew long as a Daemi's hair would, and so on.
On to the Teenage
By the time he was goin into the teenage(about 100 or so years for an immortal race like the Daemi), Shinzo had already started to take on that rather evil nature of his a couple decades earlier. Of course, Daemi are naturally vile, but this one was different. He was a monster compared to others. He was way too heartless. By now, some Daemi had started to call him "Jashin" which meant "Evil Heart" recognizing him as heartless and more evil than the rest. The young Daemi was now known as Shinzo "Jashin" Zetsu, aside from the nickname his foster parents gave him, "Yahiko". However, others simply called "Jashin" eventually and so the name stayed.
The boy was now 150 years old
Jashin. He pondered the name. Sometimes he would get curious and start to wonder about all kinds of things. Including life itself, and the meaning of such a thing as "the heart". He often got confused about this, why he would think about these things if he was so vile..? But anyways. By this point in his rather short life, Jashin--as they now called him--was far stronger then before and could finally shapeshift into an appearance he liked. He had astounding speed and had even found some ancient Katana-typed sword in the ruins a few decades back. He trained a lot with it and rather liked it and his abilities as well. But sometimes he wondered if it was necesary. Why would he even need these abilities in the first place? It was obvious that Jashin wasn't aware of the history of his land, how it came to be, or even its name! So he went out in search of useful information.
At the Ruins
Jashin had set off for the Ruins at a time to search for information on his land. It took him quite some time, but eventually found a few ancient documents that were useful to learning. Jashin finally knew the name of his land; Azrazel. He searched and searched ever so more for the history of Azrazel. He found out that it was created by a "God". He was interested in this being. And so he began to study the history of the whole world. About 2 decades passed by and Jashin has learned so much. He learned about the nine original Gods, the four Gods who created the world, the four lands, and their races. However, he did not completely understand all of it, as he was still so young. He was only 170 years old by this point. But now Jashin got his question answered. Why would he need those abilities. For the future. He knew this, trouble was lurking ahead in his life so he decided it was good to train and such. He wanted to rise above the normal ranks of Daemi, above Zafrire and reach the Universe. This was his major ambition and goal, a never ending dream that not even a God imagined was possible for a Daemi to feel. Especially a heartless oneā¦
Currently
Few more decades have passed since Jashin's learning of the creation of the world and the Gods. He has followed his dream of surpassing in power, and has trained harshly. Although he is unknown of in other lands, he is known across the majority of Azrazel, and will make his name heard of in the other three lands. Although none of that has happened yet, Jashin is sure of himself and that he will succeed in this dream of his. Even if it takes centuries, milleniums, hell, even eons!!
But for now, Jashin is wandering about the Ruins of Nazura in search of more useful information and harsh training. Jashin is very cunning and patient when it comes to this, so he should be able to deal with it.
FACE CLAIM,Well I chose Kakuzu, a character from the anime and manga Naruto because I thought he would fit the description simlilarly to a Daemi; dark skinned, evil looking, like a dead person, and so on. So I decided it was good for keeps and kept it.
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF,To start off, real name's Omi(though I go by Yahiko xP) You may have noticed I'm a guy, I'm 15 and I've been roleplaying for...*counts on fingers* uhh, about a year now???
Well anyways, I'm a pretty friendly guy, I'm very chatty when in the mood and I'm always up for a good RP :3
But on the personal details...
I'm straight, I respect gays I just feel uncomfortable if a gay would come on to me. And trust me, I have a pretty nasty temper, so dont'cha think about messin with me -_-"
I'm a bit bipolar at times... sometimes it gets depressing and I kinda freak out people <.< But I can control it and it's not much of a problem
Im the outgoing type, the social type, and most definitely the nice kind of person. Im dedicated just as long as there's a motivation to it, and I get to be very passionate about it. But if the motivation runs out, no more dedication.
I'm very easy to get along with if we don't start off on the wrong foot and again, Im a darn nice guy. So talk to me anytime
WHAT IS PRELUDE?
Well mainly from my point of view...
Prelude is a fantase-based RP involving all sorts of fictional characters--Gods, shapeshifters, even angelic and demonic-like creatures. It all started off in a space were 9 small balls of dust floated about for no real reason. After many millenia, these dust-like things came to life and be known as the "Gods". These beings grew slowly, but were very wise and powerful. They even had the power to create lands and other beings, and used that to create more life.
At some point in time, four Gods came together to form a "Utopia," a world with peace and no strife. But one of these Gods, Sien the Illusive, had his own selfish plans and plotted to take over the world. he created evil, vile beings with powers that would take on armies with ease. The other Gods created their lands and races as well as did Sien, and they clashed in a long war known as The Great War. This was legendary, as Sien was imprisoned in the wastelands of the land he created himself. In the Ruins of the Nazura Kingdom in the land of Azrazel. After many more millenia after the world stabilized again, Sien escaped without a trace from the imprisonment he was in, and the Gods couldn't find him. He was obviously plotting for another takeover, but he was nowhere to be see.... Just where has he gone?
That's where this site comes in. We are here in Prelude to recreate the event of Sien escaping and plotting another takeover on the world, as we play the many fictional characters of thhe fantasy created by Allie.
