This race is immortal.

Gods are a divine race of supernatural beings whom are the rulers of the entire universe. It is unknown of their origins or how they came to be; simply that they are. They're the very foundations of everything that we know, believe and worship. They are the air we breath; the water that we drink; the earth that we harvest; the sky that we cherish. The Gods are the sun and the moon, the heavens and Hell. They are life and they are death. They are you and they are me.

Gods are, most certainly, the strongest of all beings in the Universe. Their knowledge is infinite; their powers do not have a limit; they are the creators of every World. They made the soil, the trees, the grass. They've made humans, they've made monsters and they've created beings such as themselves. In the beginning, there were only nine Gods, however as time went on, they created and developed and explored their powers. Eventually, there were countless Worlds scattered throughout the Universe.

A God’s lifespan is forever, counting of course if they’re not killed. They age at an extremely slow rate. From birth, an infant would take over two hundred years before being able to be classified as a teenager. In some cases, however, maturity to this stage can take much longer then two centuries. Depending on the God and their preferences, and also their control over their powers, they can however appear at whatever age they wish to, of whatever species and so on.

All Gods have different appearances, separate to each other, and they are not necessarily beautiful or breath taking. Again it depends on the God’s preferences as to how they wish to appear; whether as an old crone or a young, fit warrior. They all typically choose to take on the physical forms of humans, or the races which they create to inhabit their planets. Whether they blend in with the crowd according to looks does not matter, however, as Gods are instantly distinguishable from their very presence that radiates power.

Of course, some of the older and stronger Gods have found ways to suppress the amounts of power so that they can blend in with general civilians and the like. It depends on the God themselves and their personality as to whether or not they do this, however. Most Gods are distinctively different from each other, and have completely opposite personalities. They are known to clash by nature and they generally don’t act very civilized towards fellow Gods. It is pretty rare Gods will ever act nice towards each other, or even bond with one another.

The extents of a Gods power is thought to be unlimited. This is true, in a sense, as there are Gods whom are capable of everything. However, each God has a specific power or ability that they are meant to specialize in, and generally can’t master anything but it. It is rather like a part of themselves to master this power and to control it, doing anything else would be like defying their very living, and it’s typically impossible for Gods to truly master anything but their true power.
