This race is mortal.

Aradi are a race of beings capable of magical powers that most races are not. Created before the Great War by the God Sien to strengthen his campaign. Considering the mass of power that it took to create hundreds of a new race that was considered to be ‘average’, creating a race capable of powers akin to a Gods was draining, and as such it wasn’t possible for large masses of Aradi to be created, nor could Sien give them the exact powers he wished for them. However, the first generations of Aradi were considerably stronger then what is left of the race now. It was said that Sien was actually strengthening their power levels during the war. But it is mostly speculated that Aradi powers were simply watered down after the stronger ones were killed out in the war or executed by clean up crews.

The Aradi typically have a somewhat wild appearance, usually having dark or red hair. Their eyes seem to be wild and unfocused, and their faces hold a sort of exotic beauty. Their skin is normally pale or tan, however some are known to have darker complexions. The builds of male Aradi are usually lean and not particularly muscular, and females are generally rather petite themselves.

Aradi are considered to be outcasts of the World, and they themselves tend to outcast themselves from the World. They’re very exclusive and to themselves, normally traveling by themselves or in small groups. They’ve secretive, cunning and very tricky. Aradi sit on the neutral line on alliances, and most do not side with their own creator, either. Their loyalties usually lie with those who offer them the best price. Each Aradi is an individual, and so may or may not go against the rest of their race. However, despite any previous loyalties, all Aradi will inevitably listen and follow the highest of all Aradi, the first one created.

Aradi are capable of controlling one main ability, whether it’s control over an element, healing or so on. Other then that, they can have two very basic magic skills. The levels of power amongst Aradi, and exactly how much control over their abilities they have, depend on the lineage of the Aradi and their experience. Typically, if Aradi focus on who or what they’re targeting with their powers, normally by pointing at it physically, their attack shall be strengthened. As well as this, some Aradi formulate specific words that are linked to their abilities, and train their minds to concentrate their power for the attacks automatically upon saying the particular word.

The average lifespan of Aradi is normally two hundred and fifty years. Some have lived longer than this.

Healing: Physical wounds, however you cannot bring back the dead. And this only has a small effect on spiritual wounds.

Super Jumping: the ability to jump high and swiftly, giving the appearance of flying.

Levitating: the ability to float above the ground.

Seeking: the ability to find lost objects, or if you are familiar with another, to seek them out.

Prophet: the ability to see the future however you cannot possibly predict what will happen, as the future is set with decisions and decisions can change.

Coercing: Suggesting ideas and thoughts into someone’s mind that they normally wouldn’t have.

Illusions: to change one’s perception, make them see something that is not there.

Tongues: the ability to speak with beasts and plants.

Dream walking: Seeing and hearing, unable to be seen or heard. When asleep you are able to enter others dreams, however because you are asleep what is real and what is not would be confused.

Textiles: the power to create thread and magic cloth items.

Vision: the ability to see over great distances and in the dark. Powerful Vision Aradi have the ability to see lies, as a distinct mark in the atmosphere.

Traveling: the ability to travel great distances in a small space of time.

Music: the ability to weave magic into song or music (favored by those who also have empathy).

Hearing: the ability to hear slight noises or whispered conversations.

Shadows: the ability to turn into shadow and manipulate shadow into objects or defenses. Etc.
