malaki
This race is immortal.
Distinctly known for their pride and lust for perfection, Malaki were the first race created in the World. Native to Edil-Amandrah, they’re a typically cold race whom believe themselves to be the highest of all the races, and are bent on proving it. Over the millenniums, they’ve established a view of themselves that is supposedly ‘perfect’ – after the Gods, of course. The majority of Malaki are, deep down, cruel and malicious beings that will do anything to be at the top. And while they’re not rough or violent like the Naoi race, Malaki have a kind of demeanor that intimidates almost instantly. They’re known for their exceptional skills of deception and toying with a person’s mind, their emotions; their entire being. Malaki are loyal to their God, and obey the law of their fellow Malaki whom have obtained high ranking positions in the courts of Edil-Amandrah, the Military and even in society.
Malaki, or otherwise known as Angels, are all supernaturally beautiful. Everything about their appearance seems to be unfalteringly perfect, and it further strengthens their views of themselves as the perfect race. The race all typically have a shade of blonde hair, and is never normally darker then a light brown. They have pale skin that seemingly emits a subtle white glow. The stronger Malaki of prominently well-bred lines are known to have feathery wings that protrude from their back, the colour of which matching the specific hair colour of the Malaki. The wings tend to seem white, however, because of the glow that comes from the skin of a Malaki. As an immortal race, Malaki generally live forever if they do not succumb to death from either being killed or suffering an incurable disease. They can choose the age of which that they wish to appear at only once in their entire life, meaning for their entire existence, they have to live with it.
There are different names of which certain Malaki, depending on strength levels and their bloodline, are classified as. The average of all these ‘classifying names’ are the Barachi Malaki, they are generally considered to be the weakest of Malaki, by their standards at least. Barachi are determined by who the Malaki’s parents were, or their level of strength or ability. Jegudi is the next classification, these are the above-average Malaki whom are strong, yet not the strongest. They typically hold high ranking positions in the courts, society and sometimes even the Military. At the head of these are the Selaphi Malaki. They are the most elite in the realm, with strong bloodlines. They’re few in number, these days, and are split up over Edil-Amandrah or Taravehan. Some have claimed the highest ranks in the Military, however most of them are to-themselves since the crash of their society, long ago.
Malaki are very intelligent beings, said to have inherited the tendency of wisdom from their creator, Juudas. They’re normally all brilliant strategists and their smarts are considered to be one of their most valuable assets. Their actual abilities, however, are seen as ‘watered down’ when compared to some of the other races – save for the Daemi. Typically, Malaki abilities revolve around enhanced speed and strength, while Selaphi Malaki are known for having another power. These powers are said to be along the lines of heightened abilities to heal or moderate control over an element, and some have been known to be able to predict the future. These abilities haven’t been seen among Selaphi for quite a while, although. It’s been suggested that these heightened abilities have died out.
