Below this you shall find a bit of information regarding Taravehan, the Realm created by Korvhan, the Beast. The information has been conjured up to give you an easy understanding of the original storyline of this site, Prelude. If you are confused about any of the information given, or still feel that you are a little confused about certain aspects of the Realm, please PM the creator and owner of the site, Allie (Eileithyia).
The Realm of Taravehan’s most notorious fact known by all is that it’s simply one huge forest, stretching for miles from the borders until the East lands finished. The thickness of the forest varies from place to place, and on the amount of people who inhabit particular areas. Mostly, though, the entire is dense and wild, overgrown; the trees are abnormally large and some of the plants, vines, and even the very earth itself seem to be alive. It’s said to be a rather mystical, mysterious place in which many a being whom aren’t native to the realm become quickly lost in. The climate also varies from area to area, but it is typically cool, yet not entirely unpleasantly so.
The Metamorphi race is native to Taravehan, they’re an exclusive, wary race that is in many ways, still wild. They are not set up in different kinds of societies as the Malaki are, and they’re not in a strict, military like structure like the Naoi. Instead, the ones whom don’t reside in the only city or Kingdom of Taravehan are split up into separate tribes who scatter themselves throughout the whole forest. These tribes make villages for themselves, typically in the treetops, and depend solely on the wilderness and earth around them. However, sometimes they will get supplies for the Ithnaru or Pellanoir. The tribes of Taravehan are normally led by Chief’s. These tribes also tend to stick to same genders; the majority of all of them are normally either all female (Eukari) or male (Varmi) Metamorphi. Other races are not apart of these tribes, however Malaki and Naoi are occasionally granted visits should the need arise. In all, there are twelve of these tribes throughout Taravehan, usually having a number of one hundred members, more or less.
Taravehan isn’t as strict on law as it’s fellow Realms, as the tribes generally stick to themselves and sort out their own problems, and the city and Kingdom are well known as a peaceful place. However, when the need calls for council, three of the strongest Chief’s from the tribes, the Minister of Taravehan and the demi-God Talua are called upon as the members of it. The Metamorphi aren’t always blindly loyal to the council and their decisions, but they aren’t particularly disobedient towards that (generally the male Metamorphi, the Varmi, are the disobedient ones).
The realm is one of the most uninfluenced by other plants of all; it’s an entirely new creation in itself. Nearly everything, even in the city and Kingdom, are made using the forest and land around them, with a little magic thrown into the mix. These establishments are well protected by the forest, and easily defendable. The most modern thing that is in Taravehan is a recently introduced steam train that isn’t really in the Realm itself, but on it’s borders; used for trade, mostly, and travelers whom have to make a rather long trip to a neighbouring realm.
Taravehan is a place full of wonder that will have travelers lost quite easily if they’re not careful. There are many beasts in the entire forest; tigers, enormous snakes, poisonous insects, and a lot more. Depending on the area of Taravehan that one is in, they had better watch themselves. The forest is split up into segments by invisible borders that can only be detected by the most subtlest of changes in the area. These segments are the lands of tribes, generally. Other’s are places a person shouldn’t wander into and some are the ones which will have them lost forever. The paths are best followed in Taravehan, and straying from them is not advised. Escorts are highly advised when traveling through the realm, if one isn’t not native to it.
