Below this you shall find a bit of information regarding Ekzon-ra, the Realm created by Niare, the Warrior (now deceased and succeeded by her son, Lucivar the Demonic). The information has been conjured up to give you an easy understanding of the original storyline of this site, Prelude. If you are confused about any of the information given, or still feel that you are a little confused about certain aspects of the Realm, please PM the creator and owner of the site, Allie (Eileithyia).
Ekzon-ra is infamous for it’s sea of orange sanded deserts and unforgiving heat. The land in the South is the driest, harshest terrain one could have the misfortune of traveling through in the entire world. The conditions are hazardous and taxing, and it takes a lot out of a person to travel through; rather, only the Naoi race can actually travel through the deserts by foot or on horseback. The other races, when put in the position to travel through Ekzon-ra, need to find and arrange actual transport through the deserts with an escort familiar to the realm. Ekzon-ra, while not thickly forested as Taravehan, is a land in which one can easy get just as lost in. And it’s even more perilous in the desert, as settlements and sources of food and water are extremely sparse.
The race to call Ekzon-ra home is the Naoi; a warrior affiliated race that keep to a military like structure and give respect based on strength that has been proven. They do not follow societies and they do not have tribes, they are a typically modern race whom go by their own ruling. Generally, all adults are apart of the Ekzon-ra Army in the Kingdom, Zverani, and the older and younger generations stay in the city, Askaavi – the main settlements of the realm. There are much smaller settlements, however, situated around the desert and generally far, far apart from each other. The general atmosphere of Zverani, Askaavi and these settlements is typically rough. Most mannerisms are highly lacking and there is an obvious loss of order. The inhabitants are usually harsh towards outsiders, and only listen to superiors based on their rank in the military and whether or not their skills are higher then their own.
While the majority of the realm isn’t law abiding, there is a strict group of Naoi whom form the nation’s council; six General’s of the army - each of whom are in charge of one of the military districts in Zverani, and the Commander’s Second. At the head of this council is the unwilling God of the realm, Lucivar, who is also the Commander of the Army. The Council is, as with the other Realms, the essential law of the Ekzon-ra. They’re the most highly respected figures of Ekzon-ra, as they’re the leaders of the Army and therefore the strongest of Naoi in the realm. The Council is not only the base on which the realm unknowingly relies on for balance, but also the ones in charge of the entire military structure of Ekzon-ra.
Ekzon-ra is supposedly the most modern looking and advanced of all the realms in the world. It has been the one most influenced by the more technologically inclined planets, however it’s been limited in what they can actually take from these other planets and put to use in their own realm. The larger establishments are all made out of a black marble, and most settlements have switched to using it as well. The architectural style of the establishments in the realm are noticeably modern; they incorporate skyscrapers into the larger areas, large apartment complexes and so on. Like Edil-Amandrah, Ekzon-ra also invested into a plumbing and sewerage system, although there are strict allowances on water, considering Ekzon-ra is the desert and water is extremely scarce. They do, of course, import water from neighbouring realms. Ekzon-ra also has a steam train system – the largest in all of the realms. There are stations in the cities, Kingdom, and connecting all of the main establishments together.
