Illuvatar ‘Rorek’
Male, 20,000 Years Old (Roughly), Malaki (Selaphi), Tutor/Personal Guard, Unknown.
PERSONALITY,
My Duty is My Honor – Illuvatar
Loyalty above all, failure is not an option when commanded by the almighty God. The Malaki are known for their loyalty to their God, Juudas, and his heir, Eileithiya, but almost none as much as the famed Illuvatar. As one of the first created Selaphi of the Malaki race, Illuvatar was created into servitude to Juudas, born into the realm of the Malaki to fight and serve his Lord God. Illuvatar’s loyalty knows no bounds when it comes to serving his Lord or his Lady, ready to give his life away with one commanded word. The famed Malaki’s life is and has always been for those who gave him everything he has, and to question his loyalty to Edil-Amandrath will only succeed in testing his patience. Passion to fulfill his duty required of him as a Malaki drives Illuvatar to live his life solely to serve and protect the Malaki race, and the Gods that they follow. The pride of the Malaki flows deep within Illuvatar’s veins, himself believing that the Malaki are in fact the perfect of all races created. To him, only those created by Juudas can truly be called perfection, a race divine that overshadows all others who look to the sky in envy. While Illuvatar himself is now quiet, silenced by the years of his service, he himself constantly believes in the fact that the Malaki are indeed the perfect race; a race that has the power to bring all suffering to an end.
Though he is a quiet man, Illuvatar often speaks his mind to those he holds closest. Eileithiya is the only ‘friend’ that he now considers to have, and with this bond he believes he is able to speak freely about his mind. Illuvatar has survived the ages, and through his past times of war, he now reflects often on the days of which he fought on the battlefield. A very calm and collective man, Illuvatar doesn’t believe in wasted breath on words that need not be spoken. If he doesn’t mean to say it, or does not believe it to be true, he will not say it at all. While most believe that he does not talk, as no one has truly heard him speak in over a thousand years besides Eileithiya, he truly has a brilliant mind with lots of opinions. A tactical genius in the art of warfare, Illuvatar often reminisces about his victories as he tutors his pupil. Although his brilliance goes un-noticed by his would be apprentice in the art of war, Illuvatar truly has the genius of one who has seen many battles and wars fought across all different styles of terrain.
Around Eileithiya, while remaining loyal to her command, Illuvatar becomes a strict and harsh individual when it comes to rules and guidelines. As her tutor and personal guardian, he expects much more and much better conduct out of her than any other being in the universe. Illuvatar enforces Juudas’ laws and wishes upon Eileithiya, often butting heads with her over her rebellious attitude toward him. Often when Eileithiya does something wrong or gets herself into trouble, Illuvatar will result to lecturing her about the past, and what he and Juudas went through so that she could have the life she did. Through all of their squabbling, Eileithiya and him have a close friendship and bond that most Malaki never come to have with their God’s. Illuvatar considers himself to be blessed that he was fortunate enough to be placed in charge of his Lady’s protection.
In battle, Illuvatar is cold and merciless, never showing any quarter to his enemy or any who try to bring harm to his Lord or Lady. He would gladly give his life in combat for Juudas and Eileithiya without a moments hesitation, but will not do so without inflicting serious damage upon his opponent. While extremely prideful and honorable, Illuvatar will use any means necessary to protect those closest to him, or to win a necessary battle. While his logic and intelligence dictates his action on the battlefield, and his emotions are remain near non-existent on the field of battle, Illuvatar's fury is something to be feared by all, not just his enemy.
APPEARANCE,
All Angels Come Disguised – Unknown
It is true that all Malaki are beautiful, a sight that any being in any realm wishes to catch a glimpse of at least once in their lives. The majestic beauty of the Malaki is rumored far and wide throughout every realm, and Illuvatar is no exception to this curse of beauty bestowed upon their race. This Malaki stands at six feet tall even, and has broad shoulders that would befit the look of any warrior of the Malaki race. Though the race is known for their enhanced strength that overpowers all but the most powerful of the other races of the universe, Illuvatar’s body seems to betray that aspect slightly. Underneath the clothing and armor he adorns, his body is well toned and defined, and yet not as muscular as the rest of his kind; his skin is pale white and seemingly glows a white color as if there was an omniscient light surrounding him. While the Malaki are seen to have muscles befitting their strength, it would seem as if Illuvatar had no such strength about him, and yet worked just as hard to achieve the definition in his biceps, abdomen, and leg muscles. As all Malaki have, Illuvatar’s body reveals brilliant wings that protrude from his shoulder blades. His overall wingspan is 8 feet, and the feathers of each wing are colored in a dullish grey looking color, as if they sported a sense of age and wisdom. Though most Malaki’s wings are colored the same as their hair, Illuvatar was created with natural black hair, and was instead blessed with grey colored wings that accentuate his intelligence and age. Illuvatar’s eyes are hazelnut brown in color, and as mentioned, his hair is obsidian black in color; Illuvatar though well over 20,000 years old, has chosen to appear at the age of 27. These features however, are rarely ever seen by any other than the God’s, and those who still live from the time of The Great War.
Illuvatar is now always seen in a set attire, of one that no one had seen him in during The Great War. While during that war he wore a shimmering white colored armor that signified who in fact he was to the forces of the Daemi, he now sports a very different look. After taking up his new duty, Illuvatar now wears black fitted clothing underneath a set of brilliant golden armor. The leggings of the armor run down to his knees, which are then overtaken by a set of golden armored boots that cover from his knee all the way down around his toes. Two small golden plates of armor overlap each other on each of the hips of his leggings, covering the sides of a small hole in his armor around his waist that is occupied by a white sash that runs the length of his waistline to his knees. At his waistline, the armor is taken up by the prized chest plate piece of armor, that glints as the sun hits it’s golden surface and is said to reflect the light as if it were the sun itself. A large letter ‘I’ is embroidered into the back of the chest plate in between two slits in the armor that allow his wings to protrude from the inside of the armor. The shoulder guards of the armor are raised for added protection from downward sword slashes and attempts to cut at his wings from the front; Illuvatar also sports two golden grieves that he wears on each forearm, each strong enough to block and defend against the swords of his enemies. Across his face, Illuvatar wears a white hood that covers his face in shadow at all times. Never does he take this hood off unless commanded to by Eileithiya or Juudas himself, always keeping his face in shadow.
Illuvatar’s true form reveals itself when he becomes serious in battle, an appearance that struck fear into the souls of the Daemi of The Great War, including the Zafrire of the armadas. Illuvatar’s signature form of appearance takes shape when eight white glowing streaks of light begin to form from his back, and sprout outward from his body. These trails of light shoot upward, four from each shoulder blade, and bend downward to form what would look to be a second pair of angelic wings on his back. Though these ‘wings’ serve no purpose in terms of looks, they do give the appearance of flapping as he flies and soars through the air. These white trails of light in the form of wings alone were enough to send small platoons of Daemi, and even a few Aradi fleeing on the battlefield before the fight had even begun. Illuvatar can always be seen carrying his bow, ‘Imrahil’, slung across his back; he carries a quiver that is always full to the brim with what seems to be one hundred arrows as well. Unlike most of his brethren Malaki, Illuvatar has no need to use a sword or other bladed weapon, and so he does not carry one.
POWERS&SPECIALITIES,
One Shot, One Kill - Unknown
The Malaki are a race known for their extraordinary strength and skill in battle. It was also once known that the Selaphi, the rank of Malaki of the highest order, possessed the ability to control one of the four elements to certain extents. It is now said that those powers are all but lost within the race of the Malaki. Illuvatar is of a different breed of Malaki, a Selaphi considered of the highest power, such that he is a threat to himself. Unlike his Malaki warrior brethren, Illuvatar was not created nor blessed with the gift of abnormal strength for his rank, and neither was he blessed with the ability to control one of the four elements of nature. Instead, when Illuvatar was created, he was given the title of ‘Divine Archer’, and was given a bow that he later named ‘Imrahil’, in which to draw out his true power. All of Illuvatar’s power use produced from his skill with the bow, as well as his true battle appearance.
Arrows of Light – As Illuvatar notches an arrow in his bowstring, and releases it, the arrow begins to lose its form. Immediately after being released from the bow, the arrow will seemingly transform itself into a streak of white hot light that rockets toward his enemies. While these streaks of white light are still arrows, their impacts as well as their sharpness have been increased two fold, being able to pierce through even the heaviest of armors with near ease. Once these arrows pierce their victim or any other object, the white hot light dissipates revealing the form of the arrow that was fired.
Arrow of Retribution – As Illuvatar notches an arrow and draws it back in his bowstring when using this ability, one of the eight white trails of light forming his ‘second wings’ will dissipate, and the arrow in the bowstring will glow with an even greater white hot light. When fired, the streak of light created by this arrow will leave a trail in the air showing the course of the arrow as it travelled from the bow. This arrow does not, and cannot kill ANYTHING. When this arrow makes contact with a Daemi of lower ranking than Shedim in the torso or head, it will ‘purify’ their being, and strip them of their immortality and all powers that they had. While the Daemi will still be part of the Daemi race, they will no longer have any powers, and no longer be one of the immortals with everlasting life.
Arrow of Sorrow – As Illuvatar notches an arrow and draws it back in his bowstring when using this ability, four of the eight white trails of light forming his ‘second wings’ will dissipate, and the arrow in the bowstring will become engulfed in what would seem to be white flames that streak back behind the arrow. When the arrow is fired, the streak of light created by this arrow will leave a trail of white flames in the air, showing the course of the arrow as it travelled from the bow. This arrow will kill a Daemi of Shedim level or below if they are hit in the torso or head, Daemi of higher ranking cannot be killed by this arrow. When this arrow makes contact with a Daemi of Mazzikim ranking in the torso or head, it will ‘purify’ their being, and strip them of their immortality and all powers that they had. While the Daemi will still be part of the Daemi race, they will no longer have any powers, and no longer be one of the immortals with everlasting life. Any Daemi under the rank of Mazzikim that is hit in the torso or head by this arrow will be engulfed in white hot flames that will burn the very core of their being, killing them in seconds of being hit by the arrow.
Arrow of Divinity - As Illuvatar notches an arrow and draws it back in his bowstring when using this ability, all eight of the white trails of light forming his ‘second wings’ will dissipate, and the arrow in the bowstring will begin to crackle with white lightning. When the arrow is fired, the streak of light created by this arrow will leave a trail of white electricity in the air, showing the course of the arrow as it travelled from the bow. This arrow is only meant to obliterate Illuvatar’s opponent, and is his strongest and final attack. This arrow is said to be strong enough to pierce the divine flesh of the God’s, though only slightly. This arrow will obliterate anything it comes in contact with, and will instantly pierce and run through anything that is not a God that get’s in the path of the arrow. This arrow does not stop after hitting one target, but will shoot through anything it comes in contact with until it buries itself deep within the ground, or has travelled a distance of two miles. Any one hit in the torso or head with this arrow will most likely be killed instantly as the arrow passes through their body in a matter of milliseconds, and if hit on a limb of the body, it is most likely that limb will be obliterated from the main body.
Illuvatar’s power is in fact his downfall as well. Though shooting arrows does nothing to him, using these specialized attacks takes a toll on his body. Though his white trails of light that form his ‘second wings’ can regenerate over time, should he ever lose all eight of them, Illuvatar’s wings will disintegrate, and he will lose all of his powers and immortality. Though he will remain a Malaki, his powers and everlasting life will leave him. Should Illuvatar ever use his final attack, his body will become useless due to the stress put onto it from the firing of the arrow.
HISTORY,
I am Juudas, and you are my child; thy name is Illuvatar.
It was more than sixty thousand years ago, when the first of the Malaki were created by Juudas the wise. A strong and proud race they were, created to become the example of perfection among the races created by the great and almighty Gods. Much did Juudas contemplate his creation, and strive to perfect the race that he himself forged with his own two hands to live in his realm and worship his name. Over time, the Malaki that were created began to love, and bred together in a beautiful serenity of a world. Stronger, more powerful Malaki evolved from this first race of ‘angels’, giving birth to the fabled rank of Selaphi among the forming armies of the race. It was after seeing this breeding that Juudas continued his creating of the race, attempting to create himself the Selaphi power of the Malaki. It was then, more than twenty thousand years ago, that he gave birth to creations that were far beyond his expectations; the few of the Selaphi that were not born, but created by their Lord God himself. It was then that he was born, created by Him who he was destined to serve, one of the first created Selaphi Malaki of his kind, and he was given the name ‘Illuvatar’.
He had risen from the forge of creation, and so looked upon his body as if it were a majestic masterpiece, awing at his own beauty as he stood naked before his God. A brilliant pale white colored skin that seemed to make him glow, obsidian black hair of which flowed in the cool breeze and hung in his eyes, and a beautiful pair of grey feathered wings that sprouted from either shoulder blade to stretch a full 8 feet in span. The youthful appearance he had been blessed with felt amazing, the feeling of life rushing through his being as he stared blankly at the one whom had created him, not knowing exactly what to say or how to say it. ”I am Juudas, and you are my child; thy name is Illuvatar. Does your appearance please you?” Illuvatar could only nod in awe as he dropped to his knees in fear and wonder of the being before him, his ‘father’ of creation. ”You shall forever remain with this appearance, then. For the centuries and millennia you live, you will never age nor deteriorate, as you are one of the immortals of this world. You are a Malaki, and you were created to be stronger, Illuvatar.” He had understood, been created with the knowledge and language of his God and people, he was created to be strong, and he alone had been created by his God for this purpose. Illuvatar nodded and stood back up, only to bow his head to his God, ”What would you have me do, Lord Juudas?”
It was then that Juudas produced to him a weapon, a bow created from wood that was long from end to end, strung with a silver piece of string to bind the ends together. ”Though the Malaki are abnormally strong among the races of this world, I have not bestowed upon you that strength, Illuvatar. Though you are what is known as a Selaphi, your strength will not match that of even a Jegudi Malaki; nor have I bestowed upon you the mastery of the elements that your race is known to carry, or the gift of foresight that some of your brethren share. However, do not fear, my child, for you will stand alone in power amongst your kin.” It was then that Juudas handed the bow to his child, and it is said that Illuvatar glowed a white hot light as he grasped the handle of his bow, and when the light subsided, he was clad in a brilliant white armor that covered his body from neck to toe. A quiver of arrows now lay across his back, full to the brim with white feathered broad head arrows. ”Take your bow, Illuvatar, and upon grasping it, it will reveal your power to you. You will know how to use your power, and what it’s purpose is. Be warned, Illuvatar; though your power is great, and though you have been created wise, your power will be the cause of your demise. Know this as you live in this world, Illuvatar, but walk your path without fear.”Power, Wisdom, and the Fear that comes from both.
Illuvatar took his bow, and his power was revealed to him within his mind’s eye, and he understood how to use it, and why it was that he was created with this gift. The Malaki closed his eyes as he sighed a heavy breath of air, and opened them once more to see that he was now in an unfamiliar place, a grand city of white with wondrous architecture. The buildings overshadowed the man who now stood before his God in the streets of an unfamiliar city, and he stood once more in awe of the unknown that he had been created into. ”This is your home, Illuvatar; it is the realm known as Edil-Amandrah, and your kin occupy it. You have been created with a power unlike any before you, or any of your kind to come, and with that power I ask you protect this realm with your life. I have bestowed upon you’re the qualities and mind of the Malaki, and it is you who will lead my armies in the centuries and millennia to come, until I release you from your duties.” Illuvatar knew what his Lord meant, and accepted his God’s words without hesitation. Illuvatar was then left to himself in the world, Juudas leaving the armies of the Malaki in his hands from that point on, and the Malaki of Edil-Amandrah accepted his arrival as a herald from their Lord. Learning that Illuvatar had been created by Juudas for the purpose of leading their armies, they did not hesitate in allowing him the position of Commander General of the realm of Edil-Amandrah. So Illuvatar had been created, and so he had set forth to live for his Lord and serve him and his people.
Multitudes of millennia passed as Illuvatar commanded the forces of Malaki on the battlefield. Hundreds of thousands of Malaki passed under his guidance and tutelage in the realm of Edil-Amandrah, each coming to know and respect the Selaphi who was created to lead them. Though he was respected by the troops he commanded, fear and rumor had spread throughout the millennia of the Selaphi created by Juudas who was destined to lead the troops of Edil-Amandrah. Fear of his power had washed over even his own troops, as well as the aristocrats of the Council and higher members of the Malaki community. It was true that Illuvatar had not been seen to possess any sort of power beyond that of a normal Malaki, far beyond that, he had not been seen to possess any such power that his foot soldiers did not have. His strength was average at best, and though he had a brilliant mind as his God had created for him, the realm could not see how Illuvatar would protect them in a time of chaos. It was then, after thousands of years of servitude and guidance that Juudas presented himself to Illuvatar once more, but this time with urgent news. The forces of Sien the Illusive and his sister, Niare , had assembled to begin the war of all wars. It was on this day that Illuvatar would show his true metal as one of the proud, and take up arms in war against the enemies of his God and his people.Fear casts a large shadow, but Fear himself is a small man. The battle begins.
It was on a summer’s day, on the borders of all realms when the battle between the combined forces of Juudas and Korvhan fought against those of Niare and Sien. The battles raged on for weeks, the forces of Malaki and Metamorphi clashing with those of the Daemi and the newly created race, the Aradi in combat on land and through the air. The strength of the Malaki and Metamorphi was matched by the speed and sorcery of the Daemi and Aradi, blows matching blows as each side’s soldiers fought for their Gods and their lives. The forces of Sien and Niare were fierce, and drove the Metamorphi back in a retreat to the mountains of the border realm, while the Malaki continued the fight at the forefront. It was then that the decision was made to release the higher ranking Malaki into combat, and so Illuvatar arrived at the battlefield to lead his troops from the front lines. Illuvatar ordered a tactical retreat to the mountains that the Metamorphi had been resting in, and as the forces of Daemi and Aradi closed in, believing they had won the battle, the combined forces of Malaki and Metamorphi ambushed them in from the height and protection of the mountains. Nearly one fifth of the forces of Sien were obliterated in their retreat from the enemy on that day, and it was then that both sides withdrew from the battlefield for weeks to recover their strength for the final battle. With the appearance of the Generals of the Malaki, so were the Generals and leaders of Sien’s forces brought to the battlefield to combat their enemy. Though they were fierce and cruel in nature, Illuvatar had known he was created for this purpose, and that his power was here and now to be put to use for his God and his Malaki kin. Illuvatar amassed his forces into one, gigantic armada, to end the war between the races with one battle, one fell swoop of the sword. Metamorphi and Malaki gathered at the staging grounds of the battle, listening to the thunderous sounds of the battle between Niare and Korvhan, which could be heard and felt through the ground for miles and miles. In the end, news reached the forces of Juudas on the morning of the great battle that Korvhan had been victorious, and had slain Niare on the field of battle.
As the Commander General of the Malaki forces, Illuvatar took it upon himself to stand at the head of the lines as each of the armies approached each other. Masses of Daemi and Aradi now faced the full force of Malaki and Metamorphi brought to the battlefield to end The Great War. It was said then that Illuvatar spread his wings and flew high into the sky as the sun rose up from the horizon behind him, and the white armor he bore reflected upon his army as if he were inspiring them with the sun, rather than his words. Illuvatar then seemed to glow with white hot fury as trails of white light sprouted from his back and formed a second pair of angelic wings upon his shoulder blades as he leaned forward and rushed the armies of Daemi and Aradi by himself. Though the frontlines of the enemy stepped backward in fear, the General of the Daemi alone stood forward, and rushed to meet his foe in combat in the middle of the battlefield. It was there that Illuvatar and one of the greatest Zafrire Daemi fought in single combat, each army standing and watching without moving an inch to attack each other, awed at the battle they saw before them as arrow and sword met between two of the greatest of warriors. For one day and night the battle raged on, neither army sleeping for fear of missing the final blow; it was on the morning of the second day that the arrow prevailed, Illuvatar’s broad head arrow piercing through the head of his opponent. It was said that as the General of the Daemi fell, one full half of the armies of Sien the Illusive fled the battlefield in horror of the site they beheld, fearing for their lives from the Commander General of the Malaki. Illuvatar ordered the full charge of his forces, and with a renewed energy at their Commander’s victory, the armies of Juudas and Korvhan charged their enemies and slaughtered all of those who had not fled, ending the war of the races. The victory was made complete, as the Malaki arrived back in Edil-Amandrah victorious, when news of Juudas’s victory and banishment of Sien the Illusive reached the ears of the Council. Illuvatar celebrated with his kin on that day of days, that ended The Great War, and that made Illuvatar a legend amongst his people.A time of peace, and yet, none are left unscarred.
Months passed after The Great War ended, and Illuvatar helped his people recover as their God recovered his strength. The Malaki rebuilt what was lost on the border lands, and helped restore peace to the rest of the realm as they recuperated within Edil-Amandrah. It was after only one year, that again Juudas presented himself to Illuvatar as he slept, waking him from a dream to see his Lord before him. ”Illuvatar, you have done well in your service to your Lord and your people, but I am afraid this day marks the end of your life in Edil-Amandrah. With the remnants of the forces of Sien surviving, you are a target of the Aradi assassins and vengeful Daemi; your presence on this realm will only succeed in bringing more destruction to it. Your power is great, Illuvatar, but it will be your demise, and that power is too great to be kept in Edil-Amandrah any longer. I give you this hood, Illuvatar, which will forever conceal your face in shadow. You are forbidden to remove this veil from this moment on, and are never to utter your name in another’s presence again, nor are you to reveal your power to any who may seek or find you. Do not say good bye to those whom you know, you will find no comfort in doing so, leave Edil-Amandrah behind but keep your pride and honor intact. Go, Illuvatar.”
Without hesitation, Illuvatar obeyed his Lord’s command, and fled Edil-Amandrah to hide in exile on the border realms that were once his battlefield. For centuries, Illuvatar remained in hiding, forever forbidden to remove his veil as he lived his immortal live in seclusion, forever remaining loyal and obedient to his Lord Juudas. Though he was exiled for his power and the strife he would bring to his people, Illuvatar’s pride and honor as a Malaki warrior did not fade from him, even after being commanded to leave his home by his Lord. His loyalty remained unwavering, as it had since the day he was created over twenty thousand years ago. It was then, however, after nearly seven hundred years of exile, that Juudas once again appeared before Illuvatar as he hid in a mountain cave. He was surprised to see his God after so long, and bowed before him as if he had never left his side. ”My Lord Juudas, I am humbled by your presence. What can your servant be of use for my Lord?” Juudas sat next to his creation inside the cavern and told Illuvatar of his daughter, the Goddess Eileithiya, who was to be his heir. He told the Malaki about her rebellious personality, and about her life up until that point, and informed Illuvatar that she had been brought to Edil-Amandrah to be tutored in the ways of her powers, as well as the history of her people.
”And so, Illuvatar, my former Commander General, I now give you the name ‘Rorek’, to bear around all those you now come in contact with. Hence forth, you will serve as my daughters tutor in the Art of Warfare, as well as military combat. You will also now be known as her personal guard at all hours of the day, always will you watch over her and protect her from harm. Be wary, Illuvatar, for though times have changed, your power is still immense; it will still be your demise.” Illuvatar looked down at his body as his former white armor was replaced with a golden set of armor, one that was different in style to his previous set. Juudas informed him that he was still forbidden to reveal his identity and power to anyone, unless ordered to by Eileithiya, or Juudas himself. Illuvatar, now given the ‘codename’ Rorek, returned to Edil-Amandrah to meet with his new Lady, and begin his duties of protecting and serving her in all the ways that he could. Obediently he has served her and Juudas for near eight hundred years, his identity remaining unknown to all, even those who once fought with him on the battlefield. Illuvatar had returned to Edil-Amandrah, his pride, honor, and loyalty as powerful as ever, he was now back where he belonged, serving his Lord and Lady.Only the dead have seen the end of war.
FACE CLAIM,
- Alex Rowe (Last Exile)- I chose Alex Rowe because not only is he my favorite Anime character of all time, but because his appearance represents my character the best in terms of demeanor and how he carries himself. I couldn’t think of anyone better to portray my characters true face.
- Tyrael (Diablo 2)- Tyrael isn’t an Anime or Manga character, but is instead a character from a PC video game. I choose his image to portray Illuvatar because his overall appearance fit PERFECTLY with what abilities and attire I wanted to give him. This face claim worked out perfectly for what I had in store for my character creation.

WHAT IS PRELUDE?
Prelude is an epic tale created from the mind of a young girl without basing it the story off of a book, movie, or otherwise. It is a tale of Divine Being’s and the creation of a Utopian-like realm full of different worlds and races created by each individual God or Goddess. When this Utopia fails, and war breaks out between the races, and even the God’s, it is determined that only Good or Evil will truly prevail. Evil is thwarted, and Sien the Illusive is defeated by Juudas, God and creator of Edil-Amandrah and the ‘perfect race’. Sien is then banished to a dead planet to spend eternity in shame, but eventually escapes without detection from the other Gods.
Prelude is a great Fantasy styled Role-Playing board that has thousands of years of history to back up the story. The races are familiar and yet unique in their own ways, and the plot is extremely interesting and open to be added too.
